Swim England Swim Club Awards

The club awards were developed in an attempt to enhance the technical skill of swimmers transitioning from Learn To Swim classes

When a swimmer has achieved all of the outcomes for a specific award, they can obtain a certificate and pin badge (Price for 2025 is £3.00 per award)

The club awards syllabus requires each coach to deliver a development programme to their swimmers which includes working on:

  • Stroke technique
  • Starts
  • Turns
  • Finishes
  • Relays
  • Use of a pace clock
  • Use of swim equipment
  • Self-management
  • Process Goals
  • Pre-pool warm-up
  • Post-pool stretches
