Bradford Dolphin Swimming Club has run successfully for many many years, through the support of volunteers.

As communicated throughout this year the club is facing a shortage of volunteers to support the day-to-day running of our Swimming Club.

Going into 2023 we have several volunteers stepping down and leaving the Club. This means that we have critical positions that need to be filled urgently to allow the club to move forward into the New Year. Without these roles in place, as per Swim England protocol, the Club cannot operate.

If these positions remain vacant going into 2023 the Club will have no alternative but to close the Club.

A description of what is involved with each role can be found on our website Committee & Officials .

The roles that must be filled are Chairman, Club Secretary, Membership Secretary, Welfare Officer and SwimMark Co-ordinator.

Many of the roles do not require you to regularly attend any meetings.

The AGM will be held at 7.30pm Sedbergh Leisure Centre, Monday 21 November 2022. All adults are welcome to join the meeting and this would be the place to show your formal interest in any of the positions available.

The outcome of the AGM will decide if and how the Club moves forward into 2023.

Please support your club and make every effort to either attend the AGM or come forward before then to volunteer.

If anyone would like any further information, please email [email protected].

Full training, handover and support will be provided.
